Terms of Service
Last updated: August 26, 2026
These Terms of Service govern your use of waterfront.works and the services provided by Waterfront Works LLC, referred to in these terms as “Waterfront Works,” “we,” “us,” or “our.”
By using our website, requesting an estimate, communicating with us, approving a quote, or using our services, you agree to these Terms of Service.
1. Our Services
Waterfront Works provides residential waterfront property cleaning and maintenance services. Services may include barnacle removal from dock pilings, seawall cleaning, dock pressure washing, boat lift cleaning, floating debris removal, and related waterfront maintenance.
Available services may vary based on property conditions, accessibility, water conditions, equipment requirements, environmental restrictions, safety concerns, and location.
2. Estimates and Quotes
Information provided through our website, by phone, by email, or by text message does not constitute a final quote unless expressly identified as one.
We may need to inspect the property, review photographs, confirm measurements, or evaluate site conditions before providing or confirming a quote. Quotes are based on the conditions and scope visible or disclosed at the time of the evaluation.
Changes in property conditions, accessibility, buildup, water depth, service scope, or other relevant factors may require an updated quote. Additional work will not be performed without authorization from the customer.
3. Scheduling and Property Access
Customers are responsible for providing accurate property information and safe, reasonable access to the areas where services will be performed.
Customers must disclose known hazards, damaged structures, concealed utilities, unsafe electrical equipment, unstable docks, deteriorated seawalls, underwater obstructions, restricted areas, animals, or other conditions that could affect the work.
Service appointments may be rescheduled because of unsafe conditions, severe weather, tides, water conditions, equipment problems, or other circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
4. Customer Responsibilities
Customers represent that they own the property or have authorization from the property owner to request and approve the work.
Customers are responsible for:
- Providing accurate contact and property information
- Identifying known hazards or damaged structures
- Securing pets and providing reasonable property access
- Removing or securing personal property when requested
- Obtaining any owner, association, or property-management approval required for the work
- Reviewing and approving the applicable quote before work begins
5. Payments
Payment terms, deposits, accepted payment methods, and payment deadlines will be stated in the applicable quote, invoice, or service agreement.
Customers are responsible for reviewing invoices and notifying Waterfront Works promptly of any suspected billing error.
6. Text Messaging Terms
Waterfront Works Messaging Program
Waterfront Works may send text messages concerning estimate requests, appointment scheduling, appointment reminders, arrival notifications, service updates, quote and invoice information, payment reminders, customer support, follow-ups, and responses to customer questions.
Marketing or promotional text messages will only be sent when permitted by applicable law and when the recipient has provided the required consent.
Message frequency varies based on your interactions with Waterfront Works, your requested services, and the status of your estimate, appointment, job, or account.
Message and data rates may apply according to your mobile carrier and service plan.
Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchasing any service.
You may opt out of text messages at any time by replying STOP.
After submitting an opt-out request, you may receive one final message confirming that you have been unsubscribed. You will no longer receive text messages unless you provide consent again.
For assistance, reply HELP or contact Waterfront Works at (330) 418-6910 or info@waterfront.works.
Mobile carriers are not responsible for delayed or undelivered messages. Text-message delivery may be affected by your carrier, device, service availability, or other factors outside our control.
Our handling of personal information, mobile numbers, and messaging consent is explained in our Privacy Policy:

7. Email and Telephone Communications
By providing your contact information and requesting that we contact you, you authorize Waterfront Works to respond using the contact method you selected or used to contact us.
You may request that we stop nonessential email or telephone communications at any time. Transactional communications related to an active estimate, appointment, job, invoice, safety matter, or customer-service request may still be necessary.
8. Website Use
You agree not to:
- Use the website for unlawful or fraudulent purposes
- Submit false, misleading, or unauthorized requests
- Attempt to interfere with the operation or security of the website
- Upload malicious code or harmful files
- Copy or misuse website content in violation of applicable law
- Impersonate another person or submit information without authorization
We may restrict access to the website when reasonably necessary to protect our systems, customers, or business.
9. Photographs and Uploaded Materials
If you upload photographs or other materials, you represent that you have the right to provide them. We may use submitted materials to evaluate the property, prepare an estimate, plan the work, document customer communications, and provide requested services.
10. Third-Party Services
Our website and business operations may use third-party service providers for scheduling, customer management, communications, website hosting, analytics, invoicing, and payment processing.
Your use of a third-party platform may also be governed by that provider’s terms and privacy practices. Waterfront Works is not responsible for interruptions or failures caused by third-party systems outside our reasonable control.
11. Service Limitations
Waterfront cleaning and maintenance can improve cleanliness and appearance, but it does not constitute a structural, engineering, electrical, environmental, or marine-construction inspection unless specifically stated in writing.
Cleaning may reveal preexisting deterioration, staining, corrosion, cracking, loose components, wood damage, coating failure, or other conditions that were previously concealed by buildup.
Waterfront Works does not guarantee that every stain, organism, discoloration, or form of buildup can be completely removed.
12. Disclaimer of Warranties
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the website and its content are provided on an “as available” basis. We do not guarantee that the website will always be uninterrupted, error-free, or available.
Any service-specific commitments will be stated in the applicable written quote or service agreement.
13. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Waterfront Works will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages resulting from use of the website or services.
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded.
14. Governing Law
These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
15. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms of Service as our practices, services, or legal obligations change. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised “Last updated” date.
16. Severability
If any provision of these terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in effect.
